We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership with the City of Kemah, officially expanding our on-demand, shared-ride service into this vibrant community. This collaboration marks a significant step in our mission to provide affordable, accessible, and reliable public transportation across the region.
The inclusion of Kemah is a key milestone in our strategic vision to create a seamless and
integrated transit network for all of Galveston County. This expansion north allows us to bridge communities by connecting the beloved City of Kemah more directly with its neighbors, fostering greater economic and social interaction across the region.
Thanks to the collaborative investment from the City of Kemah, residents and visitors traveling to or from the City of Kemah can access our convenient, app-based ride service at reduced fares and enjoy the flexibility of same-day booking. Whether you're starting or ending your journey in Kemah, a one-way trip costs just $1.00 for the general public and an affordable $0.50 for seniors (65+), individuals with disabilities, and students.
Our commitment to serving our veterans grows stronger with this expansion. Our dedicated Veteran Service, which provides direct transportation to the VA hospital in Houston for just $3.50 one-way, is now available to the veterans of Kemah, ensuring they have dignified and affordable access to essential healthcare.
This initiative is designed to make transportation more accessible for everyone, whether you’re commuting to work, heading to appointments, meeting friends on the Kemah Boardwalk, or connecting to other destinations in our service zone.
Furthermore, it significantly enhances mobility by providing a critical transportation link for residents seeking employment, education, and healthcare opportunities throughout the county.
This expansion would not be possible without the forward-thinking partnership of the City of Kemah. Collaborations like this are the cornerstone of effective public transit. By working together, we can pool resources, align goals, and directly address the mobility needs of our citizens.
